Hamir Atwal is a masterful drummer from the Bay Area who studied jazz at Berklee School of music in Boston. He's performedwith just about every jazz musician in the SF Bay Area already at the tender age of 24, Hamir's short but impressive resume also boasts time in the band of modern jazz saxophone legend Greg Osby. He currently teaches advanced jazz drums and plays at jazz clubs and events as a member of groups lead by formidable musicians and local mainstays like Kasey Knudsen, Michael Coleman, Joshua Smith, Matt Morrish and several other Bay Area players.
